*lit*Match online: now Steam-powered!

Greetings,

Just to let those 'in the know' know that the *lit*Match server is up and running again. I managed to get the Steam dedicated server running, and bring the TFC module to date. With a little trouble-shooting from Shade, I know that you can connect to it. I myself don't have the latest version of Steam installed yet, but I'm plannng to do so fairly soon.

As before, the pings are _still_ going to be crap, but the server IS available for testing/fooling around use. I know that the selection of servers is somewhat sparse, so hopefully this will help a bit. Informationi for connecting is as follows:

Server IP: 208.18.51.50:27015
Server Pass: valid

I'll be updating DNS in the next little while, so that you can just connect using the 'tfc.nolongervalid.org' name entry instead of the i.p. address. I'll post again once that's completed.

Any comments you have are welcomed, and let me know if there are things that need fixing on the server. Enjoy!

Your FAST work is much appreciated. I didn't expect it to be ready so soon.

Like he said folks: This server is just for messing around in, and also a emergency backup for when our normal server goes down. It can in NO way provide us with the stability that a STA server needs.

Once I get FTP access, i'll get the ol' map list on there so we can use it.

A tiny request, if you would, ender, for the dns:

Make tfc.nolongervalid.org point to 69.12.8.232:27015 (as it is our main TFC server, now that we have it back up and running)

and point either tfc2., or litmatch., or lit. to this server? Tis up to you, but just wanted to put out that request.

Hey Shade,

I've made the appropriate changes via DNS, and tfc.nolongervalid.org now points to the new server i.p. taphouse.nolongervalid.org also points to this same address.

To access the backup/testing server here, it can be reached via litmatch.nolongervalid.org.
