Octoberfest is over, and I managed to get a few pics before I put my camera away so it wouldn't get busted.
The night started off with a few friends gathered around our custom built table (http://members.home.net/spaztek1/misc/OctoberfestTable1.JPG). The goofy guy with the mangled Red Sox hat is John; the host and my co-worker. The guy next to him is Darren; Sargeant-at-Arms for the party (armed with a Giants hard-hat and "womping" stick). Refreshments consisted of two half-barrels of Beck's (http://members.home.net/spaztek1/misc/OctoberfestTable2.JPG), two bottles of Jagermeister, a bottle of Blackhaus, and plenty of food (http://members.home.net/spaztek1/misc/OctoberfestGrub.jpg). Activities included drinking (http://members.home.net/spaztek1/misc/OctoberfestGoons1.jpg), dancing (http://members.home.net/spaztek1/misc/OctoberfestDance.jpg), crafts (http://members.home.net/spaztek1/misc/OctoberfestCarving.jpg), and more drinking (http://members.home.net/spaztek1/misc/OctoberfestGoons2.jpg).
Regretfully, I didn't get any pictures of the "Highland Games" (which mostly consisted of seeing how far we could throw the centerpiece rock, drunken wrestling, and vomiting); or when the police (http://w3.nai.net/~marilyn/spdrt.htm) showed up when the neighbors complained about the rather loud ethnic music (http://www.rammstein.com/index.html) and yelling at 2am. Needless to say, they were not happy, and the party broke up soon after.
