Here is where I want to see everyone's inputs about things they want to see done with the webpage.

I would like to avoid it in IRC, for the main fact that I am not always watching, and if I am, it sometimes gets lost in the logs.

this way we all have a quick reference to check what we want done.

I will be working on h4xing the newspro script to look alittle better, as well start on the rules page.

LW, im not sure if ChAoS talked to you last night, but me and him had a lengthy disscussion on the rules page and he has some very good ideas for it. I believe its more or less altering some of the wording around for a better presentation.

I think you outta talk to him regaurding that aspect of the page.

Otherwise, the only other thing that bothers me (as I have said before) is the newspro colors.

Qoutes need a new update.

How are we gonna do the schedule on the right hand side?

k, the newspro has been changed alittle.

I have changed the font, as well as some of the colours.

I still plan on putting each post into a table, but I haven't done that yet.

I have done alittle bit on the preliminary rules section as well, but I stopped till I spoke with Chaos about what his ideas were.

Emo's profile pic has been changed to the apporpriate soldier pic.

Can we have the link font a bit bigger? Maybe 1.3x the size or something? It'd make it hella easier to pick when you've had a few cocktails.

And maybe some kind of text along the top graphic. Something along the lines of "A TFC Clan" or "pull my finger".

We should have a match history section
In it, you should include Scrimms, STA 5v5, and STA 9v9...
included w/ each of those should be a screenshot of the scores at the end of each round (if available), the score, who won, and a writeup (which as I told you, I'd be glad to do)

As for the schedule, it should be pretty much the same
have a 5v5 Schedule box, a 9v9 Schedule box, maybe a practice schedule box, but that's kinda dumb, and a Scrimmage box...

maybe if you feel like it too, have a match results box, with the most recent match results

if lw decides to use the music idea..which he damn well should we could do it 1 of 2 ways....we vote on our clan song....or we have the bility to interchange the song...like maybe 5 options...not sure if this is doable

about music: Thats one of my pet peeves... I f*ckin hate sites with music. Especially if its a site I go to alot - like this is. It screws with whatever song winamp is playin, I am on 56k so it take forever, and its just annoying IMO.

I like the idea of using Das's flash intro for any opening page... thats usually nice for visitors to see.

for the schedule: I can easily add something that looks cool, but it would probably be better if I work on some sort of script that will take input from someone, and then use that to updatethe page. (That way we don't even have to mess with the html, and even ppl who don't have access to the html can update it). I think this would be something that can be added to the members only section.

Match results page can be along the same lines as above. Give me some days to see if making a php script to do this is something I can muster. I think I can :)

I think for the rules page I am going to install a second newspro engine to make it easier for updates. I was considering a "blogger" journal entry type thing, but that would be a whore to setup plus it needs FTP access which I don't think is needed or warranted.

I'll start on that tonight or tomorrow.

I was wondering if we could incorporate the log-ANALyzer into the match results page.. We could have SSs, the analyzer, and a write up. I like to keep tabs on how many times I get TKed by nemmy. :)

It would be even better if we could get a new one up every few monthes or so.. provided that the people that can make them, have the time.

a flash movie is fine I think.
As long as its easy to tell it to skip.
If you don't like seeing the flash movie, its easy to change your link to the frontpage to avoid the flash page altogether anyway.
The flash movie is nice for non-member visitors to see - especially when its as l337 as Das's :)

Fo real i have been brewing thoughts for a nLv-offence flash but my comp is too shitty to record the .dem to raw file so i will have to hop over to shades house and strattle the power of his box.

I have added the schedule to the right of the page to reflect STA 5vs5 9vs9 and practices including what the current rank is in that division, current map as well as the next map in the rotation for each division...........

Rules page has been added to the site......go read it folks.

The left nav menu was bugging me alittle so I changed some of the links in it. You no longer have the pics/headers linked to anything..........

I am currently working on installing a second newspro engine to run a match write-up page, but it is not being cooperative, so gimme some time on that one. :/

Whoever is working on the results page, make sure you add this.

We should be using it with our current matchs, now that we have the nLv box ready to go, and can get the logs.

If you dont know what it is: Its a stats program that really kicks ass. It tells us who is playing well, and whos sucking ass. *points to LW* :D

Also: I think on the newspage, that the large, bold, titles/topics need to be brighter or a different color then that of light grey.

Its to hard to distinguish between seperate posts, or updates. It all seems to mesh into eachother.

See I KNEW they'd actually have a script set up to just print out the stats right on the page.

as of right now, I have morg~ working on a complete history write-up from day 1 of rbb to today for that section.

I am still trying to figure out what to have in the members only section and such.

I was thinking of re-doing some stuff to accomodate more things like the stocks and shit.

I also want to re-do the roster abit.

We've given you ideas for the members section.

Such as the Map Strat archive, various files that only our members can get. Maybe we can make some nLv sprays and custom console backgrounds or soemthing to put in there.
